If you're camping on one site for upwards of five days, days and nights can get pretty yucky when it rains. This year, for the first time, we brought along a canopy. Naturally, it never rained. Still, the shelter added a nice homey touch to the camp site, and kept the pine needles and pre-season leaf falls from littering our picnic table, and we enjoyed the item very much.
