I got this motor under recommendation from a family member who is a professional fisherman. I also added a not included copilot, which uses a hand transmitter rather than the wired foot pedal that comes with it.This combination really works well, much better than I expected, as it doesn't hunt a lot to keep on course you set. People I have taken out on my boat have commented what a joy it is to fish with and have been impressed with the overall ease of operation and lack of clutter on the deck.
