Nathan Elite 1 Plus Angled 22-Ounce Waist Pack with 5-Ounce Nutrition Flask Review

Nathan Elite 1 Plus Angled 22-Ounce Waist Pack with 5-Ounce Nutrition FlaskI've had this piece now for about two years.I bought it just before a 1/2 marathon and did not use it much prior to that.I became frustrated with it then, as I was not used to it.
However, I walk 4-6 miles/day with my dogs, and it is very useful on these walks for a little hydration.I take out the small bottle and put my MP3 in.The walking does not bounce it quite so much, therefore it does not get loose as quickly.
For running, I use this up to about six miles. After that, I'm out of water. Also, in running, it tends to come loose as you go with a full bottle, which sometimes requires you to readjust it.Not a big deal, but if you are a FAST & SERIOUS runner -- unlike me -- I can see how this might bother you.
For the slipping part, I use two cheap velcro wraps just in front of the buckle around the straps. It provides just enough friction to keep them from slipping too quickly. But again, in running, the bounce with a full bottle tends to loosen it more quickly.
Gel bottle is great, but by the time I need the gel, I'm out of water, and then just carrying gel.I'd recommend buying a gel only pack for longer runs if there is water on the course.
