Portable 8' Beach Shelter Review

We bought this to take with us to the beach to shade our 8 month old baby. I also wanted a discrete place to nurse her as well.
I set it up at home first to see how difficult it would be - it was really easy - just three poles used and its up! It was very roomy.
Definately a bit more difficult at the beach to do it, but that's factoring the wind and sand. Still quite easy though.
It was very cool inside, however, not when the front is zipped up (which I tried when I needed to feed the baby) --- it got very hot with the front closed up. But it still offered alot of privacy, even with the front part opened up.

It folds up smaller than one of those packageable lounge chairs, very light, and I know its going to be something we use for many years.

i ordered this item and immediatlty requested to know if it was in stock or back order like every other site out there. even thoguht amazon claimed it was in stock and would ship in a few days. after i placed the order the ship date changed dramatically. and it was too late.I tried to contact the vendor for status and no one responded. i tried to cancel my order several times and was not allowed as it was not direct from amazon. i was told i needed the vendor to cancel it.itried over and over, no one responded, no one confirmed the order...i do not trust this vendor and would never order again. to this day i have not heard back. i took a chance and ordered from someone who i checked with to make sure it was in stock after 2 weeks of not hearing back from anyone and it was sent out the same day. do not order from them. i like the item once i received from someone is stock.

Texsport Calypso Cabana Beach Shelter Review

Bought this for our spring break camping trip in Florida's panhandle.

First day was VERY windy.If we had a tail, I think we could have flown it as a kite.I consider it a success that the cabana didn't rip apart.

Our second adventure worked much better.Still windy, but not as bad as the first day.Filled the pockets with sand, (and buried them in sand as well)Worked great and it was nice to have a place to keep all the beach toys and get out of the sun and wind occasionally.

One Touch Push Up Easy Setup Beach Shelter 8 Feet Tent Better than Pop Up Easier when Fold Up Review

I bought this one as Christmas present for my nephew. Couldn't test it on the beach due to the weather. Played with it in the park, it is quite easy to set up and fold up. Highly recommend.

The fabric is better than the cheap pop up tent in the market.
