This tent is incredible. Syl-nylon...more guy out points than you can shake a stick at. Huge inside and giant vestibules. I probably shouldn't say this but I bought this with Amazon Prime for 224.00 SHIPPED I love amazon 8-)

A modified dome, it has a footprint of 92" x 82", two large D-shaped doors and two vestibules that are 8 square feet each. Center height is 48". The Helios tent features four Yunan Atlas Scandium poles; used in high-performance sporting goods as well as military and space applications, the scandium alloy is well-suited to tent poles that must stand up to demanding conditions. A shock-corded floating connector, tapered on each end, joins identical poles, eliminating the need for a fixed insert in either pole. This innovative design allows the poles to flex in an even arc with better distribution of stress, making them stronger and less prone to failure. Structural features include a combination of pole sleeves and quick-clips for quicker setup without compromising strength. Extensive pole coverage with multiple guy-out points provides "bomb shelter" strength to handle snow loads and high-altitude winds. Primus BiFrost Y6 Tent Review

We live in Iceland, and we needed a new family tent. We are 2 adults and 3 children. Living in Iceland we sometimes get bad weather so big indoor space was a must. We do not go camping a lot, maybe 2-3 (2-4 days each) every summer. We bought this tent a year ago and I have just good things to say! A king size air maddrass (180 cm wide) just fits perfectly in the bedroom, so fitting 3 is no problem. The living area is huge! We fitted ones 12 people for dinner in bad weather!!!! It is also great because when the weather is good you can open "doors" in 3 directions!
It takes us about 15-20 minutes to put up, my husband doing most of the work :)
As it is a big tent - it is quite sensitive to wind, so sleeping in very windy weather can be difficult. You also need to have a fairly big grasspot for the tent as it is very big in areal.

I like the fact that this tent comes with a 10 yr warranty and that it uses aluminum poles. This is a great 1 person tent and an adequate 2 person tent. It is quality made and very durable and you cant beat the price! Also be sure you look for the "other" tent exactly listed like this one on amazon because they offer a cheaper price and shipping! Also always seam seal every tent you may buy, will save you a headache later!

I have researched prices and sizes and features, and this tent is just the right one. 6" tall at the center, roomy and extremely well ventilated inside. It is easy to set up, well constructed and while I won't use the elctrical wiring and battery features inside, I will use the simple incoming port so I can pull an extension cord in and charge my cell phone overnight. Very handy.

Paha Que Fiberglass Pole Tepee Shower and Outhouse Tent Review

I bought this for a river trip and I really love it.It fit great into the canoe with all the other gear we had to bring, and it made for a nice evening after all day on the river.Very easy to set up, we also used the drain floor which captured all of our shower drain water and made it easy to collect and properly dispose of.And we also used the Power Shower by PahaQue and everyone loved it.A new dimension to camping, I really recommend the Tepee as a shower or as a restroom.Great!Very Pleased!

Sportz Truck Tent III Review

I just bought one of these tents a couple of weeks ago.The setup took about 20 minutes and then another 10 minutes for the canopy.The tent goes up just like any other popup tent with the fiberglass poles.The tent holes are color coded to the poles so that was a plus.The setup for the middle (inside) pole (that runs across the roof on the inside) was a little awkward because you had to be in the tent to set it up.

3 gripes/cons:

1. The tent should have a padded floor to pad you and your knees from the hard metal truck bed.It would be fairly easy to make some sort of insert/pocket for placing padding in the bottom.

2. The door for the tent is difficult to zip shut at the corner due to the high amount of tension from the arching support pole.I had to unclip the hangar clip from the pole to get the door to zip shut.Unclipping the hangar clip is a 1/2 second task that easily corrects the zipper issue.

3. The canopy could be design a little better to handle rain.My canopy would pool rain water that had to be dumped.It would have been better designed by having a rainfly type pole support system.This support would keep the canopy stiff and the water would run off.

Pros:

1. Keeps you off the ground (great for rainy weather.)
2. Tent shape is very open inside so there's lots of room to move around inside.
3. Excellent ventilation.
4. Neat little 'glove' type hole that allows you to reach into your truck's back window without having to expose your hand to the outside (great for when it's raining.)

It just so happens that it rained the first night I took this tent out.The rainfly and the tent kept me dry and waterproof.

Overall - an excellent tent.
