Folding Table Review

I'll cut to the chase.The connecting pieces on this table are made of plastic.Upon opening the box in which the table was shipped, I discovered that several of these connecting pieces were broken.For instance, a metal pole snaps into a U shaped bracket which is plastic, and half of them were broken.The metal supports of the folding legs are attached to the legs by PLASTIC, and of course, on two legs, these pieces were broken.

Now, you might assume that this was a fluke.I called Campmor, from whom I ordered this item (same exact item, just spreading the word here at Amazon), and asked about their return/replacement process.The kind woman I spoke to informed me that they're getting a lot of returns on this item, because it's frequently broken when it's received.She recommended not getting a replacement.

Come on, Eureka.The table top is well designed, and I love the pockets.Why the heck did you have to go and skimp on the PIECES THAT MUST ENDURE THE MOST WEAR?

There are other good roll up camp tables out there.I had one made by REI for about 4 years, it was used heavily, and left outside in the rain too often.The METAL rivets which held everything together eventually rusted.

So, keep shopping, this is not the product for you.
